It's a place for me to share my thoughts, feelings, and the things I love. I've been inspired by many other sites to ditch social media and make a website of my own. Decentralisation of the web and being able to own things is very important to me.
This website has been coded by a beginner using Brackets and Firefox, meaning it's not mobile friendly and the code is suboptimal! The aspect ratio also is for the specific specs of my laptop (whoops). Feel free to poke around...
I made this site in April of 2024 but didn't begin committing myself to it until mid-August. I don't update it every day but am constantly working to improve it and build community!

THINKING: The more I see minimalist and vertically layed out sites, I really wanna lean that way but I have so many things on my to do list before I spend 20hrs remaking the whole site. Also I should learn JS!

1. add stickers to the home page
2. update the look of the media / personal blog
3. make the sitemap
4. add links to all buttons (and stamps?!) on this page
5. shrines?! (lots of creative effort needed)
6. revisit the diary

07/SEP/24: This morning we're all online! I had to fix some code and add some images I forgot but I'm mostly happy with it and so can start redesigning my blogs.
06/SEP/24: I've had to ditch the button section on this main page 'cause I've spent all day (10am-9pm) coding this new index. Don't get me wrong it's been great practice and I love how the site looks (it truely feels like my own) but holy hell,, I am knackered. // I've had the code in neocities for 30 mins and it still hasn't updated T.T

My username comes from this Tumblr post I saw when I was 13ish (before this I used cosmo as my online name). The bit before says something about mimes being emo clowns, then the term Scene Mimes is used and as a teen into scenecore and being chronically online I had to have it.
